Ransom Ridge Outfitters

A Beacon for the Lost. A Brand Built on Purpose.

Why We Exist

Ransom Ridge Outfitters was not born in a boardroom. It was born in a valley — the kind you don't get out of easily, and the kind that leaves you changed when you finally do.

We exist for the person who has ever felt too far gone. Too broken. Too lost. Too much like an outsider. We exist to be a quiet, persistent light in their direction — not a floodlight that blinds, but a beacon that guides.

Every design we create has one purpose above profit: to spark curiosity, start a conversation, and point someone toward the truth that a price has already been paid for their freedom.

"Nobody is too broken, too far gone, or too lost to be found."

What Our Name Means

We chose every word of our name with intention:

RANSOM  The price Christ paid on the cross for every soul — yours included. It was paid in full before you even knew you needed it.

RIDGE  The mountaintop we climb toward after every valley. The proof that the pit is not the end of the story.

OUTFITTERS  Because what we provide is more than a shirt. Every product is a tool, a conversation, a seed — and eventually, we hope, much more.

Our Story

Our founder knows the valley firsthand. He grew up with a complicated relationship with faith — present enough to know God existed, distant enough to feel like He was for other people. As the years passed, the distance grew.

Then came a season of searching that took him from the battlefields of Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom, through two deployments and the weight of combat loss, to personal valleys that tested everything he thought he knew about who he was and why he was here.

There were years of searching for purpose in the wrong places. Broken relationships. Hard consequences. The kind of rock bottom that strips away every excuse and every distraction until all that’s left is the question you’ve been avoiding: Is there something more than this?

The answer, it turned out, had been waiting the whole time.

It was in the quiet — in the forced stillness of circumstances he didn’t choose — that he finally got serious about God. And looking back, he can trace a line through every hard season and see a hand that was there even when he couldn’t feel it. Protecting. Waiting. Calling.

Ransom Ridge Outfitters is his answer to that calling.

"I can see where He was protecting me the whole time. I just wasn’t looking."

Who We’re For

We design for everyone — because the gospel is for everyone. But we design with specific people in mind:

The veteran who served with honor and came home carrying more than they expected.

The person whose past has been used to define them — who needs to be reminded that redemption is not just possible, it’s already paid for.

The one struggling with their mental health — living in the valley and looking for evidence that a ridge exists.

The curious — the one who picks up our shirt, smiles at the design, and starts asking questions they didn’t expect to ask.

The believer who wants to share their faith but doesn’t want to be a bumper sticker about it.

Our Mission in Practice

We are not primarily a business. We are a ministry that happens to sell apparel. That distinction drives every decision we make.

Our goal is simple: cover our costs, pay a livable wage, and give everything beyond that back — to charity, to ministry, and to the people we exist to serve. We measure success not in revenue but in conversations started, in questions asked, and in people who walked toward something they weren’t sure they believed in yet.

A shirt is just fabric. But the right shirt, worn by the right person, in the right moment — that’s a door God can walk through.

"Every dollar beyond our needs goes back to the mission. That’s not a policy. That’s a promise."

Thank you for being here. Whether you’re a longtime believer, a first-time visitor, or somewhere in between — you belong at Ransom Ridge.

"Not all valleys are between mountains. Some are between concrete buildings. Either way, you're not alone."
